Time For Action, Not Excuses

Yesterday we talked about “no excuses.” Life happens to all of us. It is simply a fact. None of us have the perfect life where everything is always wonderful.

It isn’t what happens to us in our life that counts; it is how we respond to it. Life is 10 percent what happens to us and 90% our response to it. It isn’t even totally what happens to us but the way we interpret the events. Sometimes as we look back on a situation, what we thought and felt at the time was more the story we told ourselves than what actually happened. Food for thought – right?

Every time you go to a web page, you are seeking something. You were seeking something by coming to my blog right now. Have you found it yet? The good news is that as long as you are at least seeking, you have the potential of finding. When you give up seeking and give up on life, it gives up on you too. Keep reading and seeking and you will find. If you did a bit deeper into my blog, you may find exactly what you are searching for to enhance your life. If you want to talk to me personally, email me at ResultsForLife@gmail.com. I am here to help.

In this economy the help so many seem to be seeking is making more money. Money helps, absolutely, but it is more than money. It is about your life. Money is not the end-all-be-all; it is what that money brings to you and your life that really matters. Time freedom. Control of your future. Time to not only provide for yourself and your future but also for the future of those you care about. Time to truly enjoy your life.

What is holding you back from taking the next step to make your dreams come true? The question is not IF you want a better life, but HOW BADLY do you want to improve your life?

Nothing new and good happens by staying exactly where you are and have been. Improving your life requires stepping out of your comfort zone and stretching yourself.

Are you ready for success? Jim Rohn reminds us that “For things to change, WE must change.” For the circumstances in your life to get better, YOU must get better.

Successful people in any and all aspects of life take action. Successful people do not make excuses or blame others or throw up their hands and give up. They find another way to make it happen for themselves.

There is a quote I have on my desk which I love and I’ll paraphrase due to one word in the actual quote which may not be appropriate for all audiences. All things come to the one who waits, providing he prays and works very hard while he waits.

It is your future. It is your choice.
